Our Story

The History Of Festigal:
The year: 2010. The headliners: Blink-182, Dizzee Rascal, Guns n’ Roses. The scene: summer sun. Fireworks. Strobe lights. A sea of colourful banners. Muddy fields buzzing with thousands of music worshippers dressed in band tees, crocheted crop-tops, glitter, colourful headbands, sequins, fishnets and carefree smiles. Amongst the crowd at Leeds Festival were a fun-loving Mum, and her excited fifteen-year old twin daughters. Captivated by the live music, the sense of freedom and the creative self-expression of the spirited festival-goers, it was here that our passion for music festivals and the seeds of inspiration for Festigal were born.

Our Mission:

Fast forward 12 years and Festigal is truly taking off.

Our purpose: to provide gorgeous festival-loving babes of all shapes and sizes with a one-stop online experience providing high-quality, great value festival fashion. The best part? Our ever-growing range of collections, from indie to boho to rave. Whatever your festival style, we’ve got you covered, allowing you to boldly express your individuality in a whirlwind of colours, textures and prints. Our team is constantly on the lookout for the latest festival trends, meaning that you can reinvent yourself here with every new festival you jet off to.

We are proud to provide you, dear customer, with a large and diverse range of products, guaranteed to make your wardrobe sparkle. Other products are lovingly crotched from scratch by our very own Festigal founder, Sue.  One thing is for certain: Festigal is a place where you can come back, time and time again, and reinvent yourself for your next festival, wherever it may be, or whoever you want to be.

Our motto: Be bold, be creative, be you.

Meet the Team:

Meet Sue

Sue is a young-at-heart Mum with a passion for letting her hair down at music festivals. Sue realised her love of fashion retail after starting her own high-quality, handmade crochet business, All Hooked Up, offering high-quality crocheted garments including hats, crop tops and dresses. Recently retired from her 9-5 job, Sue now devotes her time to attending her beloved festivals, running the Festigal site and hand-crocheting beautiful bespoke items for your festival wardrobe, just in time for summer.

Meet Megan

Megan (twin 1), is a formidable businesswoman in her own right, who kickstarted her successful nature-themed homeware store, Floral Fawna totally from scratch from her bedroom. Megan also is a successful Depop seller, who gained success on the platform through her favourite pastime, sourcing exquisite bespoke vintage items from local charity shops to upsell. With an eye for unique looks, Megan is great at finding individual styles and collections for Festigal.

Meet Carla

Carla, (twin 2), recently quit her day job in education to focus on a career in digital marketing and copywriting. Alongside the occasional modelling shoot for Festigal, Carla assists with the production of the Festigal site, including copywriting, assisting with sourcing the latest festival fashions, blogging and advertising.

Where we are headed Following the recent decline of the pandemic, Festivals are guaranteed to explode back onto the scene wilder than ever this year.
